Nature’s Elegance

Earrings

Each unique, light, long or short,
with natures own colours and shapes.

Crafted with copper, silver or plated metal ear wires.  I am told they are a joy to wear!

Gum Caps • Nuts • Cones• Seeds

Does from many species are also decorative.  These cones are the preferred food of the Glossy Backed Cockatoo, a rare bird.

Though the caps cover much, after the flower the maturing gum nuts bring unique shapes, patterns and colour

The Quandong, an iconic bush food, have these wonderfully textured seeds that look like 3D renditions of small moons or asteroids!

Over the years they have found many uses, and now being made into earrings!

The caps from the Eucalyptus Silver Princess lend themselves to the art of crafting earrings.  With many too choose from, it is not hard to find pairs of shape, size and colour.

Though the white powder is lost, once Beeswax is added, they still give interest in their shape and colour

Without intervention, these caps from our spectacular flowering Eucalyptus mallees, can disintegrate after rains and dewy mornings.  Collecting them while assessing the flowers for the weekly harvest, gives managing our flower farm just that little bit more joy!
